Qatar Foundation for Social Work and the centers under its umbrella hold various activities in the cultural neighborhood in conjunction with the tournament.

The activities of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work and the centers under its umbrella are launched Today in the Cultural district of Katara, coinciding with Qatar's hosting of the World Cup and in celebration of the National Day, with the aim of introducing the QSW to the public, highlighting the services that it provides to the community, introducing the centers affiliated to the Foundation, spreading the culture of social work and educating the community about skills to deal with different groups. The Qatar Foundation for Social Work will participate, as usual, in the State's celebrations of the National Day. The Foundation's program participating in the celebrations will consist of various national items, activities and events, in which all centers operating under the supervision of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work will participate. These events will have a festive atmosphere that includes the elderly, families, children and people with disabilities. The events will also include many national, cultural, entertainment and awareness activities, art shows for children and the center's staff, in addition to competitions for the public, to ensure everyone's interaction with the content, activities and items of the program. The Foundation's theater in the cultural district "Katara", in its strategic location, hosts a group of activities and competitions that attract many children and adults daily.

On this occasion, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Binali, Head of the External Communication Department of the Foundation, said: “We decided to participate this year alongside the national events of Qatar's hosting of the World Cup, and on this basis we organized several preparations, as our activities will start today in the Cultural district - Katara with the Foundation's  eight centers, namely: Social Development Center (Namaa), Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, Family Counseling Center (Wifaq), Orphan Care Center (Dreama), Elderly Empowerment and Care Center (Ehsan), Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN). ), Al-Noor Center for the Blind, and the Behavioral Health Support Center “Daam". We have set up a special place for the Foundation and its affiliated centers, and we have set up a stage where we will present several items of the program during the day that the Foundation will supervise in cooperation with the Foundation's centers, as well as a kids' corner to play, draw and color and a special corner for photography, in addition to a mural introducing the Foundation and its centers in both languages, and we will have several paragraphs during the day on the stage, in cooperation with the centers and the Ministry of Social Development and the Family. Al-Binali confirmed the Foundation's keenness to participate in the national events, sports forums and various celebrations held by the State, through its participation in this major sports event, explaining that one of the Foundation's most important priorities is for the participation of the various groups and affiliates of the centers in this event and for them to be integrated in the national and sports forums, and that to have their imprint and presence in all different events.
